Laynee
Torode is an local artist who has just begun to explore the St. Louis
art scene. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and moved to
Missouri in 1993 to attend Southeast Missouri State University. After
finishing up at SEMO, she moved to Saint Louis to continue her
education at Saint Louis University. She is also currently working on
two novels. Her art, though abstract in nature, is filled with rich
pagan symbolism. All of her works are deep, personal expressions of
